This training event is for Texas public school district accounting personnel, school district administrators, and school board members who serve on finance and audit committees of the board. Attendees can earn up to 18 CPE hours. 

Covered topics include: updates in reporting requirements, accounting for long term debt, reconciling cash, student activity fund control gaps, complying with TEA requirements, changes to the OMB for the single audit act,  internal control best practices, audit readiness for Texas public school districts, and current topics in these areas.
